celebration of International Women’s Day
8 March, 2016, ALL Ladies League honors the women of the world by observing
this global day of sisterhood with the heart centered gesture of Shakti Bandhan,
a beautiful and sacred display of the bonds of the divine energy and creative
force of the feminine.
Shaki Bandhan are ancient Hindi words with Shakti meaning “Divine Energy” and
Bandhan meaning ‘Bond” A sacred band or simple thread is tied to the wrist from
one woman to another with the promise to uplift, love and protect within the
unbreakable bond of sisterhood.
